Absolute Arrives Pagan
Arrived 430pm [9 June]. Pagan is so beautiful. Dinner with Sumay Cove Marina [Guam] friends on Spindrift and Inconceivable. Sleep then exploring tomorrow! Update received via satellite phone text.

Brief phone call today supplements arrival: Absolute in anchored in 10-15 deep clear water with a black sand bottom. Two boats of friends from Guam are there as well. It is very pretty and nice weather. The volcano is releasing steam or smoke “but we aren’t that close.” Per web: gas and steam visible in satellite photos last week in clear weather and were confirmed via an field crew on site just a few days ago. No ash emissions were noted. Jackie was happy to hear Lucy barking at a deer in the yard during the call:)
