approx 10AM 11 May Yap/Guam time: This AM the wind stopped. after 3hrs of bobbing and drifting we realized the fwd propulsion from the prop would keep the split coupling pushed fwd and not rubbing on the stuffing box. it worked. we are under engine power heading 70 (degrees) for now monitoring engine temp& prop shaft closely but making progress.
