I left Durham, NC at 9am Thursday morning and pulled in to Boulder, CO at 9pm Friday evening. I made pretty good time without killing myself. I’m heading further west tomorrow and getting Jackie from the airport in Reno NV on Sunday night. Then we’ll head out to the Black Rock Desert on Monday to experience Burning Man for our first time. We are excited. I’ll be back to Colorado after Labor Day and then work my way to Massachusetts for a wedding on 25 September before heading back to DC and Durham. If I were smart, I would figure out how to post a map with live updates of my progress from my iPhone but I think I’ll leave that for another trip. For now, I’m going to get some sleep and get ready for more driving tomorrow.
