Zigzagging toward Guam

Zigzagging toward Guam

Absolute continued heading North to avoid what is now tropical storm Noul and currently passing over Ulithi. Absolute will now zigzag toward Guam because the wind is coming from the East. The wind, current, and waves allow them to take a heading of about 30 degrees or 150 degrees. This makes for some slow going. They are out of most poor (windy, stormy) weather conditions at this point though, which is good, and are making their way home. One of the last two SPOT check-ins did not come through; this is probably because of poor service around their current location. It could happen again.  I did receive a text from Pete early this morning (4:30AM east coast time, 6:30pm Guam time) saying that all is well (though of course they would be happier if they could make a better pace or heading.) Continue to monitor their progress via the SPOT map and send good wind vibes their way!
